Here is my Zoomy Rans V2 Formula. Finished the conversion last weekend. It took some creativity to route the cables on a recumbent but it works! I used the Voyager kit and after two rides, using primarily the Leisure assist option, I had 47 miles with 21% battery left. The thing I like the most is having the thumb throttle to assist when starting off, especially into an incline. Zoomy was great working with me to get a custom width rim and tire for the bike. Very happy with it so far!

This is an awesome kit. First off I chose this model because my bike frame wouldnt really allow the bottle type battery to fit. Since this goes behind the seat its out of the way. Installation took me a few tries, but I didnt realize it came with extra small washers as spacers if needed. At first it was rubbing on the forks and then it made an awful high pitch noise when riding. Adding a few included washers alleviated this. The larger size battery is awesome and I can go 50-70 mile depending on the assist, usage and terrain. If you have any hesitancy on this dont, its a great kit with a lot higher quality parts then others on the market.

The battery pack surprised me as the quality was above expectations. I had issues getting the pack to attach because I have a weird seat, but I put another more traditional seat on it it was fine. I then had an issue as the motor made a horrible noise, but come to find out I didnt put the locking washers on correctly. After calling in and watchign the installation video again it was clear and had no issues since. Word of advice the washers matter 🙂

My bike didnt have a good spot for the bottle type batery so this was the choice I went with. It was a larger battery capacity so I was happy with that. Initially I was impressed by the packaging and the usage was awesome as well

Install was fairly easy. Took me around 30 minutes. Took my first ride and I can say I love it. I heard from a lot of armchair experts 250 watt motor wasn’t big enough, but I can say this is plenty of power for me. Not only that, but it helps make the battery last longer and I believe its all in the controller and battery quality. First ride at mostly fully throttle was about 46 miles and I still had plenty of juice left.

I purchased for my wife and tested it out on my bike before I set hers up. I already have a 1800 dollar rad ebike and let me tell you this thing is just as good if not better. It performs just as well and keeping the comfort of my road bike would have been a plus. I’ll probably be adding one of these to my bike in the near future too.
